Get a dateable character to four hearts, talk to them, choose Invite, then Ask on date.
Finish the night by going to sleep. The character comes to collect you at 6 PM at the start of the next night.

Raise the character to four hearts
The date option does not appear before the four-heart friendship level.

Talk to a dateable character
Open the normal conversation choices and select Invite.

Select Ask on date
The invitation is scheduled; it does not begin immediately after the conversation.

Go to sleep
Sleeping advances the game to the night when the date can begin.

Be ready at 6 PM the next night
Your date arrives at the beginning of the night and chooses the activity.
Why the date option is missing
You cannot see “Ask on date”
Check the friendship menu. The option appears after reaching four hearts, and only for a character who can be dated.
You asked, but nothing happened
The invitation is for the following night. Go home, sleep, and wait for the 6 PM pickup.
The wrong person arrived first
Avoid asking several people out on the same night. Reported behaviour is that the most recently invited character arrives first and the dates queue in reverse order.
What changes after the date
- The relationship changes to Dating after the outing.
- You can date more than one character at the same time.
- The Give interaction gains a daily kiss option for a dating partner.
- The character chooses the date activity; some activities give an item reward.
Simple rule: invite one person at a time, sleep, and let that date finish before scheduling another. The game does not clearly show a date queue.
